The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is currently accepting applications for the position of “Guard” for the Mission’s Consular Department. The details of the job vacancy are as follows:

• Job title: Guard at the Mission’s Consular Department (Full time)
• Qualifications: Fluency in English and Arabic. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good presentation skills. High degree of integrity and trust. Experience working in an International Organization, Embassy or other International Environment will be considered as an extra asset. Police clearance. High School Diploma is required.
• Job description: Employee is responsible for visitor reception and verifying consular appointments. Performs guard service to safeguard Embassy’s property and personnel. Recognizes emergencies, unusual incidents, and developing problems. Checks ID cards, screens visitors and vehicles, and controls parking in front of the Embassy’s building. Deals with all administrative / consular issues as per the Ambassador’s (Head of Mission) instructions. Processing and checking visa applications. Processing and checking a wide variety of consular related applications. Interacting with Cypriot, EU or foreign citizens in need of assistance. Provide a high-quality customer/citizen service in all aspects of work. Screening local mail delivery to the Embassy. Carryout other necessary duties as may arise in other functions of the Embassy. May be required to work at other locations. All other relevant tasks as instructed by the Head of Mission.
• Monthly Salary: 5000 SAR (plus thirteenth (13th) month bonus equivalent to one month of the base salary)
